As many are aware, the COVID19 has placed many restrictions on attendance at Athletic Events. Over the Thanksgiving Holiday, new attendance procedures for Basketball were released. The Governor has requested that those schools who are playing Winter Sports, don’t allow any fans at all but it isn’t mandated. Therefore, the OHSAA has issued a recommendation that schools allow parents to attend for the time being. Here is attendance policy for All Basketball Participants Grades 7-12 until 12/31/20:
Only Parents of Participants will be able to attend the Basketball Games. Those 2 tickets will be purchased “online” for all events at Springfield Local High School. Away Games will be determined by the opponent and can be different game to game but the allotment won’t change for the time being, 2 Tickets–Parents Only.
Ticket Prices for games at Springfield Local High School: 9th, 8th an 7th Games will be $5.00 per ticket. JV and Varsity Games will be $7.00 per ticket.
Online Ticket Purchasing directions/instructions will be sent home with the participants prior to games. Please note–The process for All Home Games will be the same each game. MS Boys Basketball Codes will be “open” for all Home MS Boys Games, MS Girls Basketball Codes will be “open” for all Home MS Girls Games, etc… Attendance allotment will be addressed/re-evaluated by the OHSAA, Ohio Department of Health and Governor after the end of the year.
