The Tigers knocked off number 4 seeded Independence in the district semi-final game tonight by a score of 2-1. Jaxon Minnetti threw a complete game allowing only 4 hits and 1 unearned run while striking out 3. Cooper Ensley led the tigers offense with 2 hits including an RBI single and a double. Minnetti helped himself at the plate driving in the other Tiger run. Alec Fusco shined behind the plate picking off two guys trying to steal. The Tigers will play the District Final matchup against Labrae at 2pm on Friday.
